Ing. arch. Juraj Závodný presents at the "Furniture Design" exhibition an overview of his free creation over the past nearly four decades, thematically focused on cabinets, shelves, and "tangles," as he refers to the accompanying graphic form of the creative process. His works have emerged from a lack of distinct interior elements, nourished by his own imagination, creative passion, and an author's unwillingness to compromise. In his creation, he thinks like an architect infused with artistic optics, a perceptive designer, and a skilled craftsman. These approaches are rewritten in a range from primarily utilitarian objects to exceptional works that utilize both function and visual concepts.
The exhibition of design works will take place from February 24 to March 15, 2025, in the foyer of FAD STU at Nám. slobody 19. The exhibition's opening will be held on March 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM., introduced by Mgr. Xénia Lettrichová.
