Biography
He studied in Brno at the Faculty of Architecture under Bohuslav Fuchs, Bedřich Rozehnal, and Jiří Kroha. From 1949 to 1982, he worked at Stavoprojekt Brno. His work was based on functionalism, which he further developed especially under the influence of Le Corbusier. He designed cultural and administrative buildings, specializing particularly in hospital constructions, where he built on the work of Bedřich Rozehnal. He also designed family houses, recreational cottages, and interiors.
