Andreas Dzikos – Liberec Venice

The project is based on the history when the surroundings of Nisa, Harcovský creek, and the already disappeared Mlýnský canal were referred to as the Liberec Venice due to their poetic appearance. In this locality of the devastated plot, I propose a residential complex with amenities and public spaces. The shape solution is the result of searching for a way to divide water and dry communication in an effort to create a large number of nooks due to the atmosphere that inspired me.
