Atelier PROSTOR S presents the works of seven first-year students and two third-year students. It showcases the results of work that has evolved over three months. The students worked on topics ranging from the transformation of matter, exploring the intangibility of clouds, working with destruction, designing new architectural structures, employing controlled randomness, to investigating the relationship between sound and space.
During the semester, students engaged in a focused dialogue with the guest of the atelier, Saman Saffarian (Zaha Hadid Architects), about current topics in 3D architectural design and methods of working both in school and in practice.
An integral part of the atelier was the intensive collaboration of students with Richard Charvát, who assisted students in seeking technical solutions and introduced them to a 3D environment that is not merely a passive transfer of models, but is intended to be an active co-creator in architectural design.
Exploring the possibilities of developing individual themes, trust in one's own work, and the ability to think abstractly are the main goals of working in the atelier. The quality of the students' work depends on each student's ability to utilize this space.
