The European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation have announced five finalists for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2013. The jury selected the finalists from 335 registered projects from 37 European countries. The winning project, as well as the Honorary Mention for the best emerging architects, will be announced in May. The award ceremony will take place on June 6 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona.
