Public Anonymous Ideational Urban Planning and Architectural One-Round Competition
The city of Plzeň announces, through the Department of City Concept and Development of Plzeň, an architectural competition for the planning of the area of Anglické nábřeží – the space in front of the existing Komerční banka. Experts have been pondering for some time whether to develop this locality or not. The answer should be provided by this newly announced competition. The second task is to propose a suitable solution for the space. According to the zoning plan, the area is part of the mixed-use central territory. This means it allows for a wide range of activities from culture to administration, commerce, and housing. However, it can also create a pleasant public space.
