Urban planning solution for the broader center of the city of Karlovy Vary
The subject of this urban planning competition is the solution of the urban and transport concept of the area of the broader center of the city of Karlovy Vary. The contracting authority emphasizes the resolution of the functional and spatial arrangement of buildings and plots and the transport concept of the area. The impetus for announcing the competition was significant development projects for the given area, which, if implemented, would significantly change the entire appearance of the broader center of the city and its functional - especially transport - arrangement. The goal of the contracting authority is to achieve a fundamental advancement in finding the best solution for the urban and transport concept of the area of the broader center of the city of Karlovy Vary for the time horizon of the next 20 – 30 years.
