Prague – The Urban Project of the Year 2025 is the Green-Blue Center study in Jaroměř in the Náchod region. This is according to the printed catalog of this year's competitive exhibition, which the Czech Press Agency has available. At the ceremonial announcement of the results today, representatives of the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction presented the awards to the winners, who have been organizing the award ceremony for the eleventh year. The authors of the urban study are Martin Krupauer, Pavel Kvintus, and Martin Sedmák.

According to the creators, the goal of the winning proposal is to revitalize the center of Jaroměř through the revitalization of public spaces. The urban reconstruction of the town, through which the Elbe River flows, emphasizes the connection to the watercourse. Water would then be used, for example, to improve the local microclimate and the quality of stay in public spaces. An important aspect of the proposal is the management of rainwater, which is subsequently used for further greenery revitalization.

Also nominated for the title of Urban Project of the Year 2025 was, for example, the spatial study of the Metropolitan Area of České Budějovice, which was ultimately awarded a special prize by the Ministry for Regional Development. Another project that could have won the award was rural housing in Ratiboř in the Vsetín area. This project ultimately received a special award from the Association for Urbanism and Spatial Planning.
