Invitation to the launch of the new publication Kamil Mrva Architects

The third publication of Kamil Mrva Architects presents the latest realizations and projects of this architectural studio from the northern Moravian town of Kopřivnice.

Architect Kamil Mrva is one of the most prominent representatives of the younger generation of Czech architects. Shortly after graduating from the Faculty of Architecture in Brno and founding his own studio in his hometown of Kopřivnice, his timber constructions gained considerable acclaim, integrating contemporary architectural forms with traditional materials and the landscape characteristics of the Beskydy region. Today, his studio realizes buildings in a much wider region, of various scales, and with a broader range of materials, yet there is still a recognizable effort for modesty, simplicity, and the connection of seeking new paths with respect for the trails already blazed by our ancestors.

Come and immerse yourself in the environment of the Beskydy region, so closely linked to the handwriting of Kamil Mrva Architects. The book launch will simultaneously open an inspiring presentation of the most recent works, following the previous Prague exhibition at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in 2010.
