Jeseník - The Jeseník Priessnitz Spa will open a large exhibition on Friday documenting the spa architectural gems from across the country. A total of 22 spa locations will be presented to visitors in one place. Spa pavilions, colonnades, promenades, and spa parks will be captured through dozens of photographs and drawings. The opening of the exhibition will be part of the ceremonial start of the Jeseník spa season. This was shared with ČTK by the spa spokesperson Věra Janků.

"The comprehensive exhibition about the architecture of spa locations across the Czech Republic is the very first such initiative in Moravia and Silesia. Last year, as part of the Year of Spa Architecture, only partial exhibitions were held in selected spa locations. With one exception, only one selected spa was presented each time," said the spa spokesperson.
In collaboration with a Prague publishing house, the Priessnitz Spa will for the first time present a comprehensive exhibition on the architecture of spa locations throughout the Czech Republic. "The scale of the exhibition is truly fabulous, as it is a presentation of 22 spa locations on nearly seventy exhibition panels," stated the spa's commercial director Tomáš Rak.
The exhibition documenting the development of Czech spas with their pavilions, colonnades, covered promenades, drinking halls, fountains, spa houses, villas, and even theaters, parks, and forest parks will also be accompanied by information from architectural historians Pavel Zatloukal and Lubomír Zeman, who are also the authors of the publication Famous Spas of Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia.
The exhibition in the Congress Hall of the Priessnitz Spa will open on Friday, May 15, coinciding with the start of the Jeseník spa season. It will include, for example, the blessing of the springs and the opening of the Priessnitz tomb. The Jeseník spa specializes in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract issues, circulatory troubles, and nervous system disorders. Last year, it was visited by 22,300 clients.
