The distinguished guests of the evening will be architects Miroslav Masák, co-author of the Máj department store in Prague and the Ještěd shopping center, and Viktor Rudiš, co-author of the EXPO 70 pavilion in Osaka and the Lesná housing estate in Brno, who celebrated his 99th birthday at the beginning of June.
The program will also include a commentary on the nominated works for the Czech Architecture Award 2026. Janica Šipulová and Martin Sládek, co-authors of the design for the revitalization of Moravian Square park in Brno, will share their views on this year's selection by the international jury.
This particular project has succeeded twice within the framework of the Czech Architecture Award – it received the Ministry of Regional Development Award in 2024 for promoting quality construction through architectural competitions and became a finalist of the Czech Architecture Award in 2025.
Come and see the exhibition of nominated works of this year's Czech Architecture Award and take the opportunity to meet personalities whose work has significantly influenced the shape of Czech architecture.
Such meetings do not happen every day. We will be happy if you join us.
