Cairo - An American scientist has discovered objects in Egypt using Google Earth that she believes could be "lost pyramids." This was reported today by the Al-Arabiya station.
In one location in Upper Egypt, Angela Micol has discovered four mounds. One of them has a flat top and a strangely symmetric triangular shape, although erosion has significantly affected it.
The second location where the lost pyramids could potentially be found is about 145 kilometers to the north. It is located a few kilometers east of the ancient city of Dimaï. The mounds have the same color as the walls in Dimaï, which were built from clay bricks and stone.
Micol has informed Egyptologists of her finding so that they can investigate whether these are indeed pyramids. However, it is necessary to conduct an on-site exploration for that.
This scientist has previously used Google Earth to determine that there could be a city at the bottom of the sea off the coast of the Yucatán Peninsula.
