Borisov is a small Belarusian town located 70 kilometers northwest of Minsk. The football stadium of the local football team stands in a forest on the outskirts of the town. With the team's advancement to the top European league, the home stadium had to undergo significant modernization, which was undertaken in 2009 by the Slovenian firm OFIS. At that time, the studio already had extensive experience in the reconstruction of the football stadium in Maribor. Fans of the team can expect to see the completion of the construction during the summer. The outer shell surrounding the new stands resembles a silver bubble or shiny snake skin dotted with a series of circular openings. The expanded stands now offer nearly triple the capacity of 13,000 seats. The corridors between the stands and the outer shell provide ample commercial space for shops, restaurants, and restrooms across three to four levels. Surrounding the stadium, a star-shaped parking lot extends into the forest, from which there is direct access to the VIP area on the top floor via a separate elevator. Athletes also have a separate entrance with locker rooms for players, referees, and doping control.
