London - The Kew Botanical Garden in London will open a unique exhibition about the life of bees to the public on Saturday, which the artist Wolfgang Buttress has stylized into a 17-meter-high structure resembling a hive. The building was relocated to London from Milan, where it was the centerpiece of the British pavilion at last year's World Expo 2015.

Part of the aluminum structure, which weighs about 40 tons, is equipped with LED lighting and sound, giving visitors the impression that they are inside a hive. The lights and sounds change to fully mimic the activity of a bee community.

The hive has received numerous awards, including a gold medal for architecture at Expo 2015. The Czech pavilion, assembled from recyclable modules, took home the third prize in this category, introducing visitors to the Czech Republic, its regions, and Czech achievements in the fields of science and modern technologies.
