Brno will build a kindergarten in Bystrc estimated at 77.5 million crowns

Brno – Brno is preparing the construction of a kindergarten in the Bystrc district in the area of Nad Dědinou. The estimated costs are 77.5 million crowns. The building will have four blocks, three of which will contain classrooms and one will be staff facilities. According to the Mayor of Brno, there has long been a shortage of places in kindergartens in Bystrc.

The new building will be created in the open space between the existing buildings and will consist of four interpenetrating blocks. "Three of them will be single-story and will be for classrooms. The last part will have two stories. It will house staff facilities and a multifunctional hall, which can serve as a gym," said Vaňková. The first children could start attending the kindergarten next summer.

The district will participate in funding, up to a maximum of 13.9 million crowns. Construction could begin this summer. Brno has almost 140 kindergartens and nearly 70 elementary schools.
