Ďáblice will build a house with municipal apartments for 31.4 million crowns

Prague – The Akcíz apartment building with 14 municipal apartments in Prague's Ďáblice is to be constructed by the company Pragotrade. They won the tender for the construction supplier with a offered price of 31.4 million crowns. This is stated in the resolution of the municipal council. The construction of the building is among the largest investment projects of the Prague-Ďáblice municipality.

The planned three-story new building, which will be located on municipal land at the intersection of Ďáblická and Hřenská streets, is designed to have 14 municipal apartments. Once completed, these should help increase the number of missing rental apartments in Ďáblice and "provide the necessary living support to people requiring long-term or temporary social assistance in active age to bridge a sensitive life situation," as stated in the construction documentation. The apartments will be of various sizes to meet the different needs of future tenants.

The building will be an extension of the existing house, which is currently used for rental municipal housing for those in social need. The new construction will share green areas and a courtyard, where over 20 trees will be planted. A new parking lot with 11 parking spaces will be built in the back corner of the property for the needs of the tenants of the planned apartment building.

The construction of the apartment building, for which the project documentation was prepared by Michal Fišer and Tomáš Zdvihal from the architectural studio třiarchitekti, could be completed in 2022. The project in Ďáblice is co-financed by the capital city.

The Ďáblice municipality is currently also renovating the municipal building on Ke Kinu street. The construction work is carried out by the company ACG-Real, which should renovate the municipal building according to the contract with the municipality for 22.9 million crowns. The renovation, for which the project documentation was prepared by architect Magda Říhová, is expected to be completed in 2022.

The Prague municipality of Ďáblice is located in the northern part of the metropolis. According to information on the municipality's website, there are 3,081 residents living there.
