Děčín is looking for a city architect

The town hall wants to establish the position of city architect. Therefore, the city of Děčín has announced a small-scale public contract called "Architect of the Statutory City of Děčín." The subject of this contract is to conduct consulting and advisory activities in the fields of architecture, urbanism, spatial planning, the environment, and heritage care in independent and transferred powers. The territorial scope of its activities corresponds to the territory of the statutory city of Děčín.
Detailed information, including the tender conditions, was published on September 2, 2016 here. The deadline for submitting offers ends on October 31, 2016, at 1:00 PM. The evaluation will take place in two rounds with the participation of renowned architects and appointed members of the city council.

Ing. arch. Marek Janatka, PhD, city architect in Chrudim, co-author of the methodology of the Czech Chamber of Architects regarding city architects' issues.
Ing. arch. Michal Kuzemenský, head of the architecture and urbanism studio at the University of Technology in Prague's Faculty of Architecture, member of the re:architekti team, which is working on the regeneration project of Podmokly.
Ing. arch. Petr Lešek, guarantor of OTTA (opening think tank of architects) at the Czech Chamber of Architects, author of methodological materials of the CKA "Architecture for Municipal Policy" and "Architecture for the Countryside", member of the studio Projektil architects.
