The architecture in Strakonice

Today, a nationwide event took place, Day of Architecture. In Strakonice, it was focused on the textile industry. Together with several dozen people, I visited the old Fezko factories. First here at Na Ostrově (by the parking lot near St. Mark’s) and then at Na Doubovci (near the castle). Take a look at the photographs taken at the event. The views of the city from the roof of the Na Doubovci complex were especially amazing. The event was successful. The only flaw was that due to the large number of visitors, the explanations were not very audible.

Day of Architecture is organized by the civic association Kruh, which has been promoting architecture since 2001.
