Open Studios Day 2018 at FA VUT
On Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 12:00 PM, the Day of Open Studios will take place at the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology, Poříčí 5. This event will present to students what to expect in the upcoming semester within studio teaching. At the same time, on the same day, the announcement of the awards by an independent jury for the bachelor’s and master’s theses of 2017/2018 at the FA VUT in Brno will take place in the evening hours on the faculty premises. The best works will be selected by a jury consisting of Assoc. Prof. Ing. Arch. Monika Mitášová, Ph.D., Ing. Arch. MgA. Markéta Mráčková, and MgA. Markéta Zdebská.
The standard system of publishing studio topics on the intranet will be supplemented by the opportunity to meet with teachers, their studios, the work created there, and last but not least, the topics for the new semester. The format of presentation remains in the hands of the teachers, and it is up to them which path they choose. The individual departments will present themselves in this order: 12:00 Department of Design, 13:00 Department of Heritage Protection, 14:00 Department of Urbanism, 15:00 Department of Spatial Creation, 16:00 Department of Experimental Creation.
