EUPRO 2017 - invitation to the second international conference at FUA TUL

On behalf of the Dean, Prof. Ing. arch. Zdeněk Fránek, we would like to invite you to the second international conference EUPRO 2017: The Identity of Contemporary Architecture in the Conditions of the Global World, organized by the Faculty of Art and Architecture TUL in Liberec, which will take place from September 25 to 27, 2017, in Liberec, in the Aula of Building G, 3rd floor, University Square 1410/1, 46117 Liberec. Thematically, it follows the 1st conference - Architecture Outside Centers.
The intention is to discuss the topic of IDENTITY, to attempt to uncover the issues of place identity or national identity in contemporary architecture; this topic will be viewed from various possible perspectives and from the situations in which local creators and their work find themselves. A wide range of approaches can reveal the specifics of the Czech architectural scene and its identity.
The conference is realized thanks to the EUPRO II project - Building Institutional Capacity and International Partnerships for Basic Research in the Field of Architecture and Urbanism (LE14012).
