The Gočár Gallery in Pardubice is launching its trial operation, located in the mills

Pardubice – In Pardubice, the test operation of Gočár's gallery in the protected heritage automatic mills will begin today. The region financed the reconstruction for 361 million crowns. The work started in May 2020.

The mills were designed by architect Josef Gočár, after whom the gallery has been named since January. Originally, the institution was called the East Bohemian Gallery. The exhibition spaces spread over five floors are located in the former mill building.

The institution will officially open on September 8, together with other entities. Pardubice is completing the City Gallery of Pardubice and the polytechnic workshops Sféra in the area. A private investor has a cultural center called Silo there.
