Do you want to get to know Pilsen, are you interested in the historical development of a modern city, or do you just want to enjoy a combination of educational and social programs? For all these options, we offer you an August summer school of urbanism in Pilsen. With knowledgeable guides, you will visit the overlooked old Pilsen synagogue and learn about the issues of Jewish emancipation, the reconstructed train station along with a few words about the context of urban modernization, or the residential projects of Adolf Loos, one of the founders of modern architecture. Accommodation and meals are provided in cooperation with Charles University. In addition, the event is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
