Exhibition of the Municipal House in Dresden

As part of the Czech Days of Culture, an exhibition opening will take place on November 2, 2005, at 6:00 PM at the Sächsisches Finanzministerium on Carolaplatz 1 in Dresden, organized by the architects' association Obecní dům Brno. From the press release we quote: A group of young architects from Brno and Prague is building on the significant tradition of Brno functionalism, which is associated with names such as Adolf Loos, Otto Eisler, Arnošt Wiesner, Bohuslav Fuchs, Karfík, and Mies van der Rohe. The group Obecní dům Brno became known mainly for its publishing activities and exhibitions about significant architects of classical modernism.
