Thank You from the Candidates for the Bodies of the ČKA Chamber

Dear colleagues,

we would like to thank you for the support we received from you at the 18th General Assembly. As members of the informal group "Against Corruption," we have been given the opportunity to contribute new energy to the Czech Chamber of Architects. We promise to handle the granted mandates responsibly in an effort to open the Czech Chamber of Architects more to its members and the public, and to strive to create an atmosphere of mutual cooperation among architects.
At the first meeting of the board, held on April 26, a working group for the transparency of public procurement was established under the leadership of Petr Lešek and a working group for the promotion of architecture led by Petr Janda. Additionally, Josef Smutný was elected as the 2nd vice-chairman of the board.
The determination of the personnel composition of the groups, discussion of budgets, and establishment of programs is scheduled for the 2nd board meeting, which will take place on May 24, 2011.
