BRNO - The Jihlava PSJ holding has completed the first phase of the construction of the new commercial center Brno Business Park. The monolith of building A, located near the exit from the D1 highway between Heršpická, Vídeňská, and Jihlavská streets, is expected to be approved by Christmas, and the first phase along with the neighboring building B, costing a total of 447 million, is set to be completed by March 31 next year. Miroslav Fuks, spokesman for the Jihlava company, informed ČTK about this.

According to him, the project is entering the phase of internal works, and various trades are now being involved in the construction. There is approximately a one-month delay in the work between the two buildings. In the future, the entire project will offer at least 400,000 square meters of office space and 900 parking spaces. The complex will also feature restaurants, a mini-market, and other services for the public.
"The building is being constructed around a newly created square aptly named London Square," Fuks reminded. A typical floor comprises approximately 1,800 square meters of floor space, which can be adapted to client requirements.
The park's construction is financed by Brno Estates, which is part of the British real estate group Lordship. PSJ holding secured the contract this spring after a six-month tender process. The company aims to start work on the second phase this year, which includes the remaining two buildings, and is also preparing for a fifth building in the long term.
The PSJ group comprises nine companies, primarily focusing on construction. The parent holding, with 270 employees, had a turnover of 1.7 billion crowns last year, while the entire group reported over three billion and employs around 800 people in total. The group also has contracts abroad; this year, for example, it completed a two-year renovation of the Czech National House in New York.
