Rožnov pod Radhoštěm - Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Vsetín region is preparing the construction of apartments in the last possible location in the city. The buildings could be in an area known as Písečná-Láz. The city hall will also discuss further development with the citizens during a public meeting on the newly prepared zoning study, spokesperson Marek Havran informed CTK today.
This is the only location in the city where the city's zoning plan allows for residential construction. "However, since the zoning plan does not detail this location, the city has agreed with the investor to develop a zoning study, which already indicates that this area designated for mass housing will be built with four-story buildings, not seven-story panel houses. The study also addresses transportation connections and public spaces in more detail," said Deputy Mayor Kristýna Kosová (Healthy Rožnov).
The same locality also includes Horská street, and the city hall plans to discuss the upcoming reconstruction with residents on Wednesday. The focus in the street will mainly be on repairing parking spaces and sidewalks.
Rožnov, with more than 16,000 inhabitants, has a budget approved for this year with expenditures and revenues of 372 million crowns, with 73 million crowns allocated for investments.
