While Krejsová denies that the director's position could be politicized, the artistic director of the project, Yvonna Kreuzmannová, confirmed it. "Mr. Svoboda's departure has already raised concerns about the politicization of the project among others in EHMK and in Brussels," the newspaper quotes Kreuzmannová.
     According to her, it is necessary to announce a selection procedure for Svoboda's position as soon as possible. However, Krejsová believes that this is a matter for the board of directors, which can also choose someone from the team for the position. She did not want to comment on her own nomination. However, it is not possible to simultaneously hold the position of director and chair of the board of directors.
     The mayor's deputy for culture, Eva Herinková (ČSSD), reportedly has already approached some personalities who might be considered. She is not convinced that it is necessary to announce a selection procedure.
