We invite you to the 12th episode of the series on young Czech architecture, which takes place as part of STOLEN GALLERY. This time, we will put our own heads on the block and present to you the work of the very organizers of this series: atelier POVĚTROŇ. The exhibition will take place this Thursday, May 16 at 9 PM at the former Jaro store in Modřany.
"We have the wind at our backs. Architecture is fun for us, but it is also a responsibility. The essence of our work is to seek naturalness in architecture, in the space around us. We perceive architecture as the cultivation of space, not limited just to buildings and not confined only to architects, which is why we enjoy collaborating with other professions. We believe that if we want to influence the space around us, we must be active. For this reason, together with artists, we founded the civic association SUA - Association of Artists and Architects, through which we strive to intervene in public space." The Povětroň atelier was founded by Michal Rouha, Jana Fischerová, and Martin Chlanda.
Thanks to you and your interest in architecture, we are fortunate that this series will now celebrate its metaphorical first birthday.
Come, we would be happy to see you! The exhibition takes place in any weather!
