Liberec – The Liberec creative scene will be presented in July at the local Cultural and Creative Center Linserka. According to the director of the city center, Janek Jiříček, 15 studios and creators from various fields will showcase their work, ranging from architecture, graphic and textile design to glassmaking, photography, and mural art, that is, large-scale wall paintings.
"In the summer, Liberec comes alive thanks to the people who come to discover it. We wanted to offer them the opportunity to take a look at the local creative scene. We approached the selected studios and individual creative personalities with the same task – each was given one large frame as a space for their presentation," Jiříček stated.
The summer project called POP-UP Linserka involves David Lejsek, Mjölk studio, Sudetype, Salansky Studio, Atakarchitekti, Studio Horáček, Kryštof Susa, Bacule, Ateliér Vedle, Eduard Seibert, Kristína Jantoščiaková, Renesanc Studio, Paulie Garand, Stroy Studio, and Vendy Štanclová.
The project’s opening will take place at Linserka on July 1st at 6:00 PM. The presentations of the studios and creators will be open for interested visitors from Monday to Friday between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The exhibition will last until July 31st. Admission is free. The event also includes three guided tours, which will take place on July 8th, 15th, and 21st, each starting at 6:00 PM.
