The architect will work based on a commission contract, with their activities primarily involving coordination, assessment of individual architectural projects, and recommending positions to the city leadership, the city council, and the city assembly for their decision-making. In operational activities, they consult and provide positions on projects being prepared by builders and developers

Together with representatives, they defend the interests of the city during the discussion of superior documentation for the larger area
They initiate active steps by the city or municipality to improve the environment, pride, satisfaction, and cohesion of the residents (e.g., announcing architectural and urbanistic competitions, involving the public in formulating visions and strategies for the city's development, collaborating with architectural schools, etc.)
The selection process will take place on November 24, 2016, at 09:00 in the office of the mayor of the city, based on prior invitation. Applications can be submitted by November 21, 2016, to the address City of Lanškroun, nám. J. M.
