As part of a three-part lecture series titled "Atlas of Modernism," curator, publicist, and historian Adam Štěch will present the most interesting discoveries he made on his travels for architecture. In the second lecture on March 19, 2020, at 7:00 PM, we will focus on Australia, which became a new leader in architectural development during the 1940s and 1950s. European architects fled before World War II to transform European avant-garde tendencies into innovative forms that responded to different cultural, social, and climatic environments in their new homes. The lecture will focus on some of the most interesting works of post-war residential architecture.
