In the winter semester of 2016, as part of the course 'Architect in Practice' intended for 2nd-year MSP students, a series of lectures by Czech, Slovak, and foreign architects will be held at the FA VUT in Brno. On Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 5:00 PM, founding member of the studio New Work, Svatopluk Sládeček, will speak in room A118 at Poříčí 5. The course is open to all interested parties at the faculty as well as the general public.
Svatopluk Sládeček (*1969 Zlín) studied at the Secondary Industrial School of Construction in Zlín (1984-88), then continued at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague (VŠUP) in the design department (1988-89) and transferred to the Faculty of Architecture with Prof. Ladislav Vrátník and Prof. Petr Keil (1989-94). In 1995, he founded the studio New Work together with Dušan Mikulášek and Slavomír Kuchovský. More information >
