The fifth meeting in Bubce within the series Dialogues with History - lectures on architecture, prepared especially for the residents of Řeporyje, but not exclusively for them, will feature architects Marek Nábělek and František Košař from the AA atelier of Prof. Ladislav Lábus.
Architects Marek Nábělek and František Košař will present the work of the atelier as well as part of their own production, primarily concerning interventions at the request of private investors – in municipalities more or less distant from the city. Co-authors of Prof. Lábus will convey, through examples of family houses, villas, and apartment buildings, a different, non-mainstream view of housing that is individual, personal, comfortable, and has charisma in an environment that may not seem poetic at first glance. As a sweet addition, one of the investors has promised to participate and share their experiences with us.

A few words about the series Dialogues with History:
Through the presentation of successful building realizations directly by their authors - architects, people can find inspiration and motivation.
Every historical period leaves its mark in space, which is a reference to the future. - The past begins with yesterday.
Therefore, in architecture, a dialogue and good relationships between the old and the new are necessary. By shaping the space, we create societal and social relationships through the ways people meet.
The author of the series is architect Michaela Zucconi (currently working as an architect in the AP atelier of Josef Pleskot), who implements it with the belief that by raising awareness about creation, relationships, and the impact of architecture on people within the general public, the environment in which we live will also improve across the board. The architect responds to the assignments and requirements of investors. Thus, it is about having good briefs.

"Dialogues with History is conceived by the author of this project, architect Michaela Zucconi, as a platform for dialogue between the public on one side and architects or heritage conservationists on the other. The project is based on organizing lecture cycles in Czech and Moravian cities and is already generating significant interest from the public. This seems very welcome to me; one of the weaknesses of architectural creation and heritage conservation is precisely the fact that both of these 'institutions' do not sufficiently explain their purpose and intentions to the public and do not engage in a permanent and open debate with this public. The project Dialogues with History aims to remedy this deficit at least to some extent."
