1 city, 100,000 opinions. 4 evenings, 8 guests, 360 minutes. A series of evenings about the values of the city, architecture, and urban planning. How to make decisions about public space? Who owns the streets, parks, and river? Do you want to learn something and share your opinion? Young architects from Olomouc (almost) Radka Smičková and Vojtěch Rudorfer have come up with a new idea, initiating a cycle of discussions under the fitting name RE.VISION OLOMOUC, to which we warmly invite you. FIRST PART: BROWNFIELDS
Old industrial areas, abandoned silos, military sites, storage halls. How many do we have in Olomouc? And what potential do such places hold? Which areas in the city are utilized and which are not? How can the city leadership influence the development of these places, what examples do we know from elsewhere, and how might it work in Olomouc? These and other questions will be addressed together with us by two industry guests: Ing. arch. Jaromír Hainc, Ph.D. and Ing. arch. Miroslav Pazdera, Mg.A. The evening is moderated by architect David Mareš. March 6, 2019, 18:00, Music Theatre Free entry
