Expati with Adam Gebrian What is it like to work for Bjarke Ingels or Norman Foster? The first in a series of debates titled Expati in which architect Adam Gebrian will introduce Czech architects working in prestigious foreign studios.
Jan Magasanik The first guest will be one of the most talented Czech architects, Jan Magasanik. He works in the originally Danish studio of Bjarke Ingels. The architectural competition for the new building of the National Library opened the doors to BIG for him, leading to collaboration with the studio. His name is associated with the Danish pavilion at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. He has been working in Bjarke Ingels' progressive studio for several years and has settled permanently in Copenhagen with his family. Among his current projects is the residential Sluishuis in Amsterdam.
