What is it like to work for Bjarke Ingels or Norman Foster? Another in the series of debates titled Expati, in which architect Adam Gebrian presents Czech architects in the service of prestigious foreign studios. This time, the guest will be architect Marek Obtulovič, who will present the work of ODDO architects and introduce viewers to the practice in Vietnam. Marek Obtulovič graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at VUT Brno (2003-10) and studied at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. From 2006 to 2013, he worked in various Brno studios. In 2013, he joined the Hanoi office of Vo Trong Nghia, where he participated in the preparation of the Vietnamese pavilion for the EXPO exhibition in Milan and in the competition for the Guggenheim Museum in Helsinki. Since 2016, he has been co-leading his own practice ODDO architects in Hanoi with Mai Lan Chi and Michal Souček.
