The Pilsen region boasts several monuments that are among the masterpieces of Jan Blažej Santini. The buildings of the Kladruby and Plasy monasteries represent a wide range of architectural types and artistic approaches, demonstrating the versatility of Santini's talent. The lecture aims to briefly introduce these works and prepare the ground for a tour of the architectural section of the exhibition. During it, we will focus primarily on Santini's projects, as well as on the question of how Baroque plans were created and what information they can provide us.
