The architectural and heritage values of the tower on Ještěd, the technical mastery of its construction, and the design sophistication of its interiors have recently undergone thorough examination. Typologically, as a television transmitter and retransmitter, as well as a viewing restaurant and mountain hotel, it is a unique building. Even more so, its indirect analogies in terms of function or design solutions can be found, and this analysis was therefore limited to those that preceded it, to buildings and projects of which the tower on Ještěd can be a synthesis.
