Those who want to succeed in the future must build on solid foundations – and the Sto Stiftung Foundation knows this well. Since its establishment in 2005, it has supported education in the construction fields intended for future painters and plasterers, aspiring architects, designers, and planners. Each year, it contributes 600,000 Euros for equipment and scholarships, summer schools, and professional conferences. Both supported areas – architecture and crafts – are represented equally. The foundation is based on the exchange of information and experiences across various fields and regardless of borders. An exceptional intergenerational exchange takes place under the so-called "November Talks."

Representatives of world-renowned architectural firms present their works, attracting hundreds of listeners to the lectures every autumn. Currently, this lecture series takes place at six different locations in Europe.
