We cordially invite you to the last pre-holiday lecture from the series OFFCITY_ARCHITEKTI, which will take place at Divadlo 29 on Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 7 PM.

The guest this time will be the office Pinkas Žalský architekti, which consists of a team of young generation architects. The main figures are Ing. arch. MgA. Petr Pinkas and Ing. arch. MgA. Jan Žalský, who studied at the Prague AVU. Just like all the architects presented in the OFFCITY_ARCHITEKTI cycle, the scope of their office's work ranges widely from small design to larger architectural entities.

One of their most interesting and strongest realizations is the Lidice Memorial, which they collaborated on with Bohumír Prokůpek. Their connection to Pardubice is not only through native roots but also through participation in a competition for the 'real school' building, with their most notable entry being a residential building on Teplého Street.

The lecture series OFFCITY_ARCHITEKTI presents non-Pardubice architects who have personal experience entering the environment of Pardubice, and their work is an example of contemporary architecture that transcends regional scale.
