Lecture: Bohumil Hypšman – modern architect in a historical city

After the initial outline of Hypšman's work, the lecture will focus on a selection of five buildings constructed in the historic center of Prague, viewed from both art-historical and urban planning perspectives. The main themes of the lecture will then be the key works of Hypšman's oeuvre – the development of Petrské nábřeží and the urban planning solution of Podskalí around Palackého náměstí.
