The Institute of Design 3 invites you to a lecture by Ivan Reimann, one of the most successful Czech architects working abroad.

Among his well-known projects are the Superblock De Frontier in Groningen and the Federal Foreign Office. Currently, the architectural firm Müller Reimann Architekten is constructing the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 6:00 PM in auditorium 310 FA VUT, Poříčí 5.

Ivan Reimann /*1957/ From 1976 to 1980, he studied architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague, then transferred to the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin), where he graduated in 1985. From 1988 to 1989, Reimann completed postgraduate studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. In 1988, he co-founded an architectural office with Thomas Müller and Andreas Scholz, which he has been leading together with Thomas Müller since 1995. In the 1990s, Ivan Reimann was an assistant to Professor Jörn Peter Schmidt-Thomsen at the Technical University of Berlin, and in 1999 he was awarded a professorship in building science and public building design at the Technical University of Dresden.
