On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at 7:00 PM, the fourth lecture in the Visiting Editors series will take place at the cultural space PRAHA / Forum for Architecture in Brno. The lecture and discussion will feature Marek Minkjan, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the blog Failed Architecture - Researching Urban Failure.
Mark is an urban and architectural geographer interested in the relationship between the built environment and society. He studied urban geography, economics, and sociology at the University of Amsterdam and is part of Non-fiction – an office for cultural innovation - (non-fiction.eu). He writes for The Guardian and VICE. Mark is a co-founder of the Failed Architecture foundation. For the years 2015/2016, he received the Dutch Creative Industries grant for his ambition to create digestible forms of architectural criticism for a broad audience. He is the winner of the Dutch award for architectural criticism, the Geert Bekaert Award 2016.
