Harmonic dialogue of the original with the new in northern Italy
Private residence in northern Italy, one of the first implementations with the Schüco ASS 77 PD.HI sliding system.
Unification instead of contrast – this is how architect Rocco Borromini approached the design of a private family house, set on a terraced plot in northern Italy. The new building, constructed in close proximity to the original development, is characterized at first glance by natural stone and large-format glazing, creating a highly comfortable living space in a bright interior. The parametric walls from the Schüco ASS 77 PD.HI system, integrated on both floors of the southern facade, unobtrusively provide access to the exceptional surrounding landscape from the comfort of home. This is one of the first projects where this multiple award-winning automated sliding system from Schüco was installed.
