Reference objects with window, door, and facade systems from Schüco are found worldwide across private and commercial spheres, in areas such as housing, education and culture, administration and business, as well as health and entertainment. The Aqualand Moravia project falls into the last group, being the largest and most modern water park in the Czech Republic, thanks not only to the use of the highly thermally insulated column-and-beam aluminum facade Schüco FW 50+.SI.

Water parks originated in America, with the first few emerging in the late 1940s and early 1950s featuring only a few slides. The oldest modern water world has been open since 1977 in Orlando, Florida. The first covered park was built a few years later, completed in 1985 in Alberta, Canada, and it holds a global lead among indoor water centers by its scale. Aqualand Moravia, with 12 pools, 20 slides and chutes, and numerous health-promoting saunas and treatments, was opened three years ago in the tourist area of Pálava in South Moravia and is currently the largest and most modern water park in the country.

The construction utilized aluminum column-and-beam facade systems Schüco FW 50+.SI. The profiles achieve thermal insulation properties at the level of passive standards, Uf up to 0.70 W/ (m²K). The facade structure is complemented by a block window system with concealed sashes Schüco AWS 75 BS.HI. This version is produced to the highest thermal insulation standards, with a construction depth of 75 mm having a Uf value from 1.4 W/(m2K). The building envelope is complemented by the door system Schüco ADS 75.SI, thermally insulated doors for buildings with maximum energy management and architectural requirements.
Profiles Schüco are also installed on the facade of the relaxation center Blue Sapphire at the Aquapark Poprad. This modern building uses thermal water as its primary energy source. It is supplemented by solar energy, which is obtained through photovoltaic panels integrated into the facade. The welcoming glazing provides visitors with plenty of light and offers unforgettable views of the High Tatras.

Aqualand Moravia is located on the site of former Roman baths, the oldest bath complex, even heated, on the territory of the Czech Republic from over 2200 years ago. The characteristics of spa and wellness culture with therapeutic treatments utilizing hot springs are documented as far back as ancient Rome and Greece. Modern sauna practices have their roots in Finland; however, steam and hot air baths have been utilized by people since the 5th century BC. The benefits of heat to the human body were recognized by doctors like Hippocrates.
