Rigips introduces a new product in the field of dry construction materials – fire-resistant pink plasterboard.
Special fire-resistant boards from Rigips will be easily recognizable on any construction site by the color of the cardboard on the front side of the board – pink. Builders, fire inspectors, investors, and anyone who emphasizes fire safety in buildings will certainly appreciate this easy identification of the fire-resistant plasterboard.
All Rigips plasterboards, including the pink fire-resistant ones, will be available on the Czech market from October 1, 2006, produced according to the new European standard ČSN EN 520. The introduction of the new standard, including meeting all demanding standard requirements, has been carefully prepared, and the entire range of boards fully and reliably complies with the new provisions.
The new standard prescribes, among many other parameters, new labeling for plasterboards. To avoid misunderstandings and potential mix-ups, the Rigips boards will be labeled both traditionally and with the new markings until the new labeling is fully established in the Czech market.
