The large flat roofs of warehouse halls, logistics centers, and industrial buildings can be used increasingly more efficiently. An example is the new mounting system for flat roofs, MSE 210 Aero, from Schüco, the world leader in building envelope and solar technologies. This aerodynamic mounting system from Schüco for flat roofs is designed for the installation of polycrystalline photovoltaic modules facing south. The MSE 210 Aero flat-roof system, with minimal weight, is ideally suited for roofs with low load reserves; the assembly is extremely versatile and, thanks to the prefabrication of parts, allows for simple and fast installation.
Mounting system for polycrystalline modules with minimal surface load
The Schüco MSE 210 Aero flat-roof mounting system for the installation of polycrystalline modules on flat roofs brings new solution possibilities. The system is equipped with guiding windward sheets, attached to the back of the photovoltaic modules, which ensure optimal aerodynamics of the entire assembly. The improved aerodynamics of the MSE 210 Aero flat-roof system allows for eliminating weight loading in the middle of the roof, which is a significant benefit for most large industrial roofs. Clean energy can now also be produced on large roof areas with minimal load reserve. The system is compatible with Schüco photovoltaic modules from series PS 02, 04, 09, 15, and 17.
Modules are installed in a southern direction, with a horizontal tilt of 15°. The assembly is highly variable; when obstacles occur on the roof, individual rows can be "shifted" to efficiently utilize the entire roof area. The MSE 210 Aero flat-roof system also offers the option to set an optimal shading angle. The system consists of only a few prefabricated parts, allowing for simple and above all, quick installation. All this without the need for anchoring. The system also comes with static certification.
Benefits of the Schüco MSE 210 - Aero flat-roof in summary:
Particularly suitable for installation on flat roofs of industrial halls, including those with low load reserve
Excellent aerodynamics, achieved through guiding windward sheets on the back, contributes to the absence of loading in the middle of the roof
High flexibility - due to the possibility of variable assemblies, and the option for efficient use of the entire roof area
Optimal shading angle can be variably chosen
Horizontal tilt of 15°
Low number of prefabricated components - simple and quick installation
Can be installed on roofs exposed to excessive snow and weather load
