From June 8 to 10, 2011, the next edition of the international exhibition Intersolar Europe 2011 will take place in Munich, the most significant solar fair in the world. The area of the new exhibition center in Munich will transform into a showcase of the latest technologies in the solar industry and energy for three days. The world leader in building envelopes, Schüco, will also present its innovations in photovoltaics and thermal energy, backed by the Energy3 concept - saving, producing, storing, and distributing energy. "We invite all those interested in new solutions and innovative products leading to self-sufficiency and a positive energy balance of buildings to visit Schüco's booth number 310 in hall B3," says Petr Herynek, marketing director of Schüco for the Czech Republic, and adds: "In our booth, you will be able to view technologies developed for the acquisition, storage, and distribution of clean solar energy, as well as tools for intelligent control of systems. Another key area is photovoltaic systems, intended for both private homes and industrial and commercial roof spaces, open areas, or for integration into windows and facades." The booth, covering more than 1000 m², will further offer an overview of mounting systems, inverters, and other installation components that contribute to cost-effectiveness and reliable operation.
High-performance thin-film photovoltaic modules Schüco MPE series BL (Blackline Laminate) The company Schüco has expanded its portfolio of traditional crystalline photovoltaic modules with more powerful micromorph and amorphous thin-film modules based on silicon. The new thin-film modules, produced in factories near Magdeburg and Dresden, achieve optimal performance even at high operating temperatures, under diffuse light, or with less than ideal orientation and tilt. Additionally, they are manufactured with minimal resource consumption and do not contain heavy metals, primarily cadmium and lead. The latest product line features black thin-film modules MPE Blackline, which are significantly more efficient due to micromorph cell technology. Together with Schüco SGI inverters and the MSE 100 mounting system, they create complete and flexible photovoltaic systems that meet the individual requirements of various projects.
The new Schüco MSE 100 roof mounting system Installation options for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs or as a structure on sloped roofing have been surpassed, and Schüco will showcase a mounting system that allows photovoltaic panels to be integrated directly into sloped roof construction. This refers to the MSE 100 in-roof system, which allows the implementation of frameless Schüco thin-film modules into sloped roofs with tiles. No special waterproof foil is required, just traditional foil and a few necessary components. The panels on the roof create a homogeneous glass appearance and elegantly blend with the tiles, with a construction depth of only 7 cm. Cover plates and module cladding are fully adhesive, merging together, and all fixing components are completely concealed. Another advantage of the MPE Blackline module design is its self-cleaning effect, aided by a specific, slightly overlapping arrangement of modules. The result is a smooth glossy surface that can create an interesting element for the entire building when combined with the right type of roofing material. This innovation is expected to appear on the market in July 2011.
Window and facade modules Schüco ProSol TF Attention will also be paid to a unique technology that connects amorphous thin-film modules with Schüco window and facade profiles. ProSol TF modules, which set new standards in building design, will be presented in three possible applications. As cold opaque facades for integration onto large facade surfaces, warm semi-transparent facades for use on window glass and transparent facades, or as cladding facades, ideal for industrial halls.
