The sliding and window systems of Schüco were awarded 3 times by the jury of the iF Design Awards 2019

The narrow visual widths of the profiles and integrated functions positively impressed the international jury of the prestigious iF Design Award 2019, which awarded three Schüco products: Schüco ASE 60/80 sliding systems with TipTronic mechatronic hardware, the Schüco ASE 67 PD panoramic sliding system, and the Schüco AWS 75 PD.SI panoramic design thermal insulating windows. Schüco ASE 60/80 Sliding Systems with TipTronic Hardware Set New Standards

The aluminum sliding systems Schüco ASE (Aluminium Sliding Element, construction depths of 60 and 80 mm) with TipTronic hardware for automatic operation set new standards for mechatronic sliding systems. The system offers a wide range of opening options and comfortable control depending on aesthetic and design requirements, with panels that can be sliding or lift-and-slide. The Schüco ASE 80 system for terraces or winter gardens, with a frame for installation with 1, 2, or 3 tracks, allows the realization of glazed areas up to 3.5 meters high and wing weights of up to 350 kg. The narrow visual widths of the profiles with a puristic design provide maximum transparency. Technologies like Schüco SmartStop and Schüco SmartClose ensure very easy and safe movement of the panels. The Schüco SmartStop technology softly but effectively slows down the moving wing of lift-and-slide doors and subsequently retracts it into the frame, increasing safety. Schüco SmartStop can alternatively be used with lift-and-slide systems where a higher level of safety is required.

The Schüco ASE 67 sliding system in the Panorama Design variant allows for the full integration of the window profile into the building walls for truly maximum views. The panels can have dimensions of up to 3.2 x 3 meters with weights of up to 400 kg, enhanced by zero thresholds for convenience.

The Schüco AWS 75 PD.SI (basic construction depth of 75 mm, Panorama Design, Super Insulated) panoramic thermal insulating aluminum window system creates impressive window areas; the slim profile widths allow for maximum views and daylight. The luxurious appearance is complemented by flush-mounted profiles in combination with an elegant joint, roset-less handle mounting, and designer handles. The AWS 75 PD.SI window system can also be integrated into curtain wall facades as inset or ribbon windows.
