The International Conference on Sustainable Buildings 2013 will be an interesting meeting where you will gain an overview of the latest trends in sustainable construction. This field will be presented from economic, construction, technological, material, and new legislation perspectives, as well as the most significant certifications. The conference is supported by prominent clients, with ZUMTOBEL being one of them.

The plenary section features world experts who will come to Prague to lecture for the very first time. For instance, American expert Harvey Bernstein will lecture on the current value of buildings, or Dutch architect Thomas Rau, who will present the concept of buildings as material banks. An interesting insight into the issues will be provided by Staffan Haglind, a director at Skanska, which is a world leader in sustainable construction, demonstrated through specific projects in the Czech Republic. The current situation in the Czech Republic will be presented by Ing. Petr Vogel, one of our most prominent experts in sustainable construction and building energy, who is also the chairman of the board of the Czech Green Buildings Council. Petr Vogel will be followed in the afternoon session by representatives of the Government of the Czech Republic, who will discuss the possibilities of sustainable construction from the state's perspective.

We look forward to meeting at the Sustainable Buildings conference, which will take place at the Clarion Hotel in Prague on May 22, 2013.
